Clean energy-focused Echo Communications Advisors has brought on a former climate change journalist.
Ella Nilsen was a senior reporter at CNN until earlier this year, covering climate and energy politics. She is now Echo’s vice president, based in Boston, the communications firm announced Tuesday.
“Ella brings deep expertise in the policy and politics of clean energy, climate, and conservation. She knows how elected officials think because she’s covered them extensively on Capitol Hill during Inflation Reduction Act negotiations and on the campaign trail as they ran for president,” Echo Communications President Chris Moyer said in a statement.
“Her perspective will be indispensable to our clients as they navigate ever-changing political landscapes,” he continued.
